Excellence Awards Winners & Rosemary Pirie Award

With around 80 people across Australia vying for the pinnacle of the IHHC Awards Scheme to win a National Award Category or the Rosemary Pirie OAM award, competition was tough. The awards were instituted to shine a spotlight on excellence and dedication to food & operational services.

Rosemary Pirie Award Winners
This year, judges for the Rosemary Pirie award decided it was in the best interest of the award, and in the “spirit of Rosemary Pirie OAM”, to promote the award and also encourage individuals and organisations to be part of the awards scheme in the future, there would be two winners for that prestigious award. Those winners for 2019 are:
Rosemary Pirie OAM (individual award): Sarah Fryer, Japara Aged Care – Victoria
Rosemary Pirie OAM (organisation award): Room Service Department, Epworth Hospital – Richmond – Victoria
On behalf of the IHHC National board of directors, I’d like to congratulate all of the winners, entrants and everyone who works in our industry. You all go over and above in your day to day work & you are all winners!!
