Overview
The IHHC is the leading membership association for professionals working across Public and Private Hospitals, related healthcare organizations and aged care institutions providing professional recognition and a range of services and member benefits.
These include an active professional development program run throughout Australia, social and networking events, national magazine and newsletters on the latest issues in hospitality in healthcare as well as major events each year, including the premier event for the Healthcare industry, the annual IHHC national conference.
Annual National Conference and Trade Expo
The annual conference is the premier event on the IHHC calendar. Presenting a strong line up of keynote speakers as well as a comprehensive program delivered by industry experts. The conference provides participants with a major opportunity to remain current on the latest issues and trends, network with industry peers from public and private hospitals and related health care organisations, attend informative and interactive sessions from some of the key players in the food, nutrition, environmental and aged care fields. The extensive trade expo offers participants the opportunity to discover new and innovative products and services.
Member Publications
The new IHHC website was launched mid 2009 and will become the first stop for members to access the latest industry information.
A large part of the Intitute's activities is keeping members informed of the latest news, issues and developments that affect the provision of hospitality in health care services across Australia and overseas. Members receive the following publications by post and online throughout the year:
